Exploding the Myths of Classic Car Ownership: Part 1

>

Myth 1: Classic cars are expensive.

The honest answer is that they need not be expensive – and owning a classic car is all about how much you can afford to spend.

Nobody can expect to pick up a Aston Martin classic for small change, but at the same time, some great examples of much less rare cars can be picked up, literally, for a few hundred pounds. In the same vein, a decrepit wreck of a Ford Anglia will be much cheaper than a fully restored version in working condition.

In general, however, conventional sedans (engine family for example) are much more competitive prices than sports versions. Classic Triumph ownership is a good example – a room clean and tidy Herald can be purchased for well under £ 1,000 but its sports equivalent, the Spitfire, could easily be double the price.

To be honest, it’s a bit like buying a new modern car – where the quality of the top sports models cost much less than cars affordable for families. But with classic cars you get much more fun and looks much admired. New Daewoo Matiz or old construction ? Hmmm, I see now …

Myth 2: The Classics can not run on unleaded petrol.

Oh yes they can, but you should take advice. In general, conventional latest with Allied leaders and hardened valve seats run allowed unleaded petrol, but my advice is to check with those who know, like the old car clubs and other owners.

very old engines in cars like Morris Minors do struggle on unleaded and damage can be caused to the engine, but even then it is a rectifiable situation if you’re willing to pay hundreds of consideration or so for a reconditioned cylinder head.

Another option is to use a liquid fuel additive that you pour into the tank before filling, but generally avoid any weird gadgets or gadgets that claim they allow you to run the unleaded gasoline. The simplest thing is to check with other enthusiasts or owners and, let’s be honest, the Internet has made that very easy.

Myth 3: Insurance premiums are high.

There is no reason to believe that classic car is more expensive than normal car insurance, even if you have a better chance of obtaining competitive quotations if you use a specialist car insurance classic Sureterm Direct.

Rather than add your classic existing insurance, or sell something that is not quite your vehicle, specialists understand all about Classic car owners and are able to adapt insurance plans to fit your unique vehicle needs exactly.

the best thing to do is make sure you talk to a classic car insurance specialist operator, rather than relying solely on the application forms online. This way you can cover every aspect of what you need your policy coverage.

And if you are a member of a club of old cars, companies like Sureterm Direct offers extra discount on your auto insurance premium classic.

Myth 4: I need loads of tools in the classical case of my car breaks down.

all depends on your level of expertise in maintenance of the car first. If you do not drive around a complete toolbox in the back of your 08 reg BMW today (and, honestly, who does?), Then why would you do it just because you are the owner of a classic?

If you have good insurance in case of failure, no serious problem can be treated quickly by experts. If you know your way around an engine a bit, then I recommend you store with a little water, oil and antifreeze and implementation of a set of wrenches and screwdrivers. This quantity is sufficient to cope with minor problems. And duct-tape is a must. It is sticky as hell hard and water resistant, so for a quick repair to rubber hoses and vinyl roofs, is a must-have. Sometimes I think the world should be maintained by Duct Tape!

Oh, and invest in a good tow rope. Sorry to be negative, but it is essential.

Myth: Classic cars are in the United Kingdom
No

‘re not it. Cars built before January 1, 1973 are eligible for zero rated road tax. You are still required to display a sticker to prove that, when you asked for the disc you had current insurance and MOT. But you do not pay anything.

You can thank the government for the January cut-off. So that means you may need to fork out while your neighbor’s car, built 24 hours earlier, is tax free. And remember, it’s when the car was built – not registered.

Myth 6: Spare parts for old cars are very expensive.

Again, it depends on the type, make and model of car and how desirable, common or rare, it is in the world of classic car.

Unsurprisingly, there are parts the specialized trade and, in some cases, it is easy to buy newly manufactured parts on the original design. If you hold a classic car and join a club, then networking with other like-minded people can quickly guide you through the minefield rooms – and it is surprising how many serious enthusiasts classic cars have stock of spare parts so they can help other owners – even for a small fee.

Once again, the Internet comes into play here and it’s a fun and useful for finding replacement parts. Very often, you find forums and sites where people are looking for spare parts and others to sell.

Myth 7: Classic cars are unsafe.

No, they are not. They were in working order once and age does not make it immediately dangerous! But it is true, of course, they are not as well equipped with safety features that modern cars. In the not so distant past, there were no airbags, ABS or crumple zones – go further back and even seatbelts were missing!

King Volvo

“safe” reputation began in the 1950s and it took some time for other manufacturers to catch up, but a classic is always a good engine as long as safely is in good condition. cars in general, seniors are more substantial (eg heavier and stronger) than more modern vehicles. And while they do not fold and absorb crash energy like modern cars, the bodywork is certainly much more difficult.

classic car owners sensitive to the forefront of their minds the fact that while the car may be tougher – the stress and tension on the driver / passenger in a heavy shunt is much worse comfortable with a car today. So to compensate, they drive more safely – leaving appropriate stopping distances, the assessment of weather conditions, and respecting the speed limits and road signs.

Keep Your Children Safe on the Internet – Part 3

Monitoring and Protection

software When you have something as serious as the safety of children online, parents want the best Internet protection software . However, it can not be an easy task to manage. There are many software that claim to be the best for protecting the Internet.

To determine the best, parents may have to try several different programs to find one that suits them. They should review each carefully and decide which organization is best suited to their needs.

Some programs offer a trial version a few weeks to a month. In this way, it helps parents make a decision without having to buy right away. Even if parents use a trial, it is good to have some type of protection program installed Internet software.

There are some computers and some Internet service providers who have internet security software preinstalled. It is a question of parents to activate when they turn on the computer. These are automated programs to send updates if necessary. It is important for parents to download the updates when they are announced.

Even when parents choose a program, it is imperative that they keep the program updated. Parents can check updates on their own, but it is generally not necessary that the updates appear automatically.

Regardless Protection Program Parent Internet use, it should be located in the computer at any time.

Parents can use filtering software to protect their children from accessing websites that are not age appropriate. When the filtering software selected, parents must choose one that is easy to install and navigate.

A parent will want to weigh the advantages and disadvantages of the use of filtering software. They want to ensure that it will be quite useful for the whole family.

The benefits of selecting filtering software:

• The child will not be able to access unauthorized sites (ie porn, gambling, etc.)

• Maintains and sexual perverts away from the child.

• The child can go online with parents by their side. Even with that, parents should always keep an eye on any suspicious activity.

inconvenience to the choice of filtering software:

• Even if filtering software does what it’s supposed to it can filter some legitimate sites too. Parents may have to bypass some of the websites.

• Parents do not feel like it was the real thing.

• If a child is technically inclined, they can find a loophole and go through the filters. Then they will have access to sites they do not have access to businesses.

There are other things about filtering software that parents should know. All filtering software is created differently. Parents may want to check around before deciding on a final product. Here are some things parents should look for:

• Ability to set deadlines. This is particularly important for the child. They do not need to surf the internet all day and all night. They may be missing important things, like doing homework or eating dinner with the family.

• The computer and filtering software must be compatible with each other. The best way to find out is to read the terms of the software before buying.

• or not they want user profiles. If they do, parents can create one for everyone in the family. Parents can decide how the child can access.

• The filtering software should provide regular updates on your computer. This helps keep your computer free of viruses, spyware and other items.

• The filtering software must be able to provide parents with information they need to know what they were made by children online.

The software will also be customized as a child grows. What’s good for a child of six years may be out of reach for a child of twelve years and vice versa.

Firewall protection is used to block specific websites that you do not want people to access. These sites may be in a number of different categories. The most popular adult sites and partners.

Parents who have children who surf the Internet need to have some type of firewall protection on their computer. The thought of a child from accessing a website that is harmful to them can be scary.

There are different types of firewall protection. Parents have to choose which one works best for them and their children. If parents have a computer with Microsoft Windows XP, the firewall comes with the operating program.

However, all that may not be enough for some parents. Some of them may want something that has more features and may have several functions. One of the best types to get is one that can block Web sites on both ends.

This means that the firewall should be able to block some sites are trying to access. It should also ensure that some sites have been consulted.

What parents want security software firewall that is based on software or hardware based on their own. All software firewall is different, and what may work for one parent may not agree with another parent.

If parents choose the path of material, they can get a wireless router with a firewall already installed. Parents need to know whether or not such material with firewall protection will be sufficient enough for them. If parents find that it is not enough, they may need to add additional software for added security.

However, for most firewalls, using material will not be necessary. The equipment costs more and if you’re not a bit technically inclined, you can get frustrated trying to install. When it comes to getting the updates for hardware-based firewall protection, they are not as readily available as software based updates.

For parents, the firewall protection based software would be their best bet. It only takes a few minutes to install and does not cost as much as the hardware firewall protection office. It is also easy to install and the computer to receive automatic updates.

According to the needs of parents, they want to go with a protective firewall only or a combination of software that includes a firewall.

Parents should know exactly what they need to control access to their children on the Internet. Whether or not it is a single product or a combination of products, the important thing is to have firewall protection installed on the computer.

Cybersitter is a great Internet filter to use for your children, whether pre-adolescents or adolescents. The software is related to the environment and simple installation. It takes less than 60 seconds to install the software.

The software works by limiting Internet access to questionable Web sites and focused on adults who may pose a danger to children. Cybersitter also allows parents to see what sites their children have visited.

In addition to this, the software provides more than 35 topics that can be filtered. The areas parents filter can be updated automatically. There may be times when there are sites that are filtered by mistake. Parents can bypass websites that do not feel need to be filtered by the software.

If your child participates in a chat room, adults are allowed to obtain copies of conversations. They can obtain copies of the end of the child and the person to whom they speak. This can be done using MSN, Yahoo Messenger or AOL.

With Cybersitter, parents can determine how much time their children spend online. They can also receive reports by e-mail to let them know what sites their children access and if they consulted the chat rooms.

Only persons who are authorized to use the software knows it is there. They are the only ones who can change the settings, if necessary. Parents may use the remote to install more than one copy of the software. There is a flat fee and free updates to the filter file are included.

SnoopStick is software used to control access to the Internet to your child. Parents can do it anywhere they have an Internet connection and a computer, either a desktop or laptop.

The device is constituted as a flash drive, and it works by inserting it into a USB drive available on the computer that you want to monitor. It is an installation and configuration takes about one minute. This facility contains the secret surveillance used to check on the kids’ machine. The device can be removed after installation.

The software takes note of all the sites visited, record all conversations, notes from all e-mail correspondence, and enough savvy for screenshots. The SnoopStick is then inserted into a computer of choice for parents. After everything is set up, it will start compiling the reports they need.

SnoopStick allows parents to watch their children’s activity in real time. They can also download the activity logs for a specified period. It is a camera icon that will allow parents to take a snapshot of any webpage that their children can access.

If parents decide to let your children know they are monitoring their Internet access, they may do so in a way that will attract their attention. Just as people use pop ups to get people to register for their newsletter, parents can use pop ups to let their children know they are being monitored.

If they do not do what they are supposed to do on the computer, parents allow them to know the pop up. This innovative idea would be a good way to let their children know they are monitored and they can not get away with snooping.

Parents also have the power to cut off Internet access to their children. They can also disconnect everyone and completely off the computer. Their children will think something is wrong with the computer when in reality, parents have access to their control.

With the rise of popular social networking SnoopStick is designed to deny access to all social networking sites that parents choose. There are also games that parents do not want their children play. These can be blocked as well.

The best software to protect children on the Internet should be in line with the age of the child and the needs of the parent company. Before you buy, they should discuss their plans with their children. Once the child knows what is happening, they can begin to feel comfortable coming to parents with their concerns.

Parents hear horror stories of children who get caught with online sexual predators. To ensure they do not go through the same thing, they look to monitor the online activity of their children closely. However, it is considered spying on your children? Your children may not think so.

To have the confidence of parents, parents should establish guidelines to be followed by the child. They should also let them know they are monitoring their online access on a consistent basis.

This may help address the lack of communication and trust between parents and their children. The child may not be as inclined to surf a website for adults on the theme.

If parents want to know what their child has surfed online and only starts to spend money upfront on software, there is a simple way where they can spy your child’s Internet Explorer.

Parents can check the browser to know what sites their children have visited.

• Go to the Display section.

• Then go to the Explorer Bar.

• After selecting the History and the day you want to watch.

• Then click on the page you want to watch.

This is the easiest way to find out what your child has been surfing for online and it does not cost you a penny.

Parents can also use Internet Explorer to block access to certain Web sites.

• Using the Tools section of the browser, go to Internet Options.

• Click the Content tab.

• In the Content Advisor, go to activate.

This will open the Access Manager. Now, parents can make their choice.

• In the Notes tab, parents can choose the level of what they want for language, nudity, sex and violence.

• In the Approved Sites tab, parents can choose which sites to block sites they do not want their children to watch.

• In the General tab, you can allow or forbid your child to watch the unrated sites.

• A password must be created. For an older child, if they try to access a site that is blocked, they can have access to the password. Parents have a say-so whether or not they will allow their children to access the site.

In the 15th century in Germany, reinforced the idea Gutenberg China movable type, and invented the printing press.

engraving

metal engraving became popular between 1450-1460. Writers used a tool called a hardened steel chisel for cutting patterns on the surface of a metal plate. The metal plate is then inked and wiped, leaving ink in the engraved lines for printing.

Engraving

The use of the etching process as applied to burning was invented by Daniel Hopfer of Germany in 1500. In the process of etching, the artist scratches a design on wax covered metal plate. The plate is then exposed to the acid that eats away the exposed metal, leaving behind lines sunk into the plate. The metal plate is then cleaned, inked, then wiped, leaving ink in the engraved lines for printing.

Why You’re Getting Absolutely Nowhere In Your Self Improvement Path ? Part 2

The Illusion

The experience I had with “self improvement” (or lack thereof) speaks to the issue that all of us face. We’re unable to create what we want for our lives because frankly we’re unable to realize The Illusion that we’re all trapped in.

In The Illusion, it SEEMS as if we’re going in a particular direction (e. g. it seemed as if I was trying to improve myself), or it may seem as if we’re going after a particular goal or that we are being a certain way. On the surface things may look that way, but in actuality something entirely different is going on below the surface such that the way things seem aren’t what they really are.

Hence The Illusion: we’re deluded into thinking what we see in terms of our behaviours, goals, actions and desires are really what they are.

Because we’re not aware that what we think is real really isn’t, we become increasingly frustrated when we don’t get what we CLAIM we desire through the actions we think we’re taking.

In life, we usually deal with three types of desires/goals etc.

There’s our conscious desires. These are our desires that are on the forefront of our minds. They’re the desires that we’re aware of that we have, e. g. saving up to buy a home, financial goals, etc. These goals/desires mask what’s really going on underneath.

There are our unconscious desires. These are our REAL desires that are masked by our conscious desires. There are the desires which give rise to the actions that we take. They’re based on the experiences we had in life, many stemming from our childhood. They’re based on a false “self” of who we think we are. Most of us are totally unaware of these desires almost all the time.

Lastly, there are the desires that stem from our CORE being. These desires are based on who we really are, not the false “self” that we created that’s based on our past experiences. These desires are based on the fact that we are Divine beings put on this earth for some purpose, and our desires and actions stem from that SELF. Sadly, most people will die never getting in touch with the desires of the TRUE self. These are our ONLY desires that are NOT a part of The Illusion.

We’re not getting what we want because of the discrepancy between what we think we desire, what we’re actually going after, and what we REALLY desire.

Are you sufficiently confused yet?

In my case, I thought I wanted to improve myself, but I was actually trying to impress my mother. All this hid what I really desired from my CORE, which was simply to be a good person. The discrepancy between these three things, and also the fact that I was completely unaware that there was a discrepancy, guaranteed me not getting not only what I thought I wanted, but what I really wanted from the core of my being.

This is like planting apple seeds and when an apple tree sprouts, you then rage and shake your fist against the gods in heaven as to why they hate you so much for not giving you an orange tree.

I’m sure there’s been a lot of fist shaking and raging in your life, because there still is in mine.

You may be thinking, “What type of idiot can’t tell the difference between an orange seed and an apple seed?” Well I have news for you: you, me and the rest of the world most of the time think we’re sowing one thing, when in actuality we’re sowing something else, and we are thus surprised at what we wind up reaping, expecting to have reaped something else.

Get it?

Think about the person who works hard all his life to graduate medical school and be a doctor. What if in actuality his father used to call him stupid all the time when he was young and him becoming a doctor was a way of trying to prove to his father he wasn’t stupid?

On the surface, he went to college, studied hard, graduated with honours, took his MCATs, got accepted to medical school and got a medical degree.

However, that was all an Illusion. What all those actions REALLY were was him trying to prove his father wrong, thinking that by achieving his goal he would finally achieve happiness, or feel smart.

Interestingly enough, when the dude finally becomes a doctor, to you, me, him and the rest of the world, he may seem as if he’s carrying out his duties as a doctor, that’s The Illusion, but in actuality, his actions will be more aligned with his desire to be smart. His desire to be thought of as smart, which in turn is actually an overcompensation of him really feeling he is stupid, will supersede his duties as a doctor and from time to time, may adversely affect his career as a doctor in one way or another.

Until you become aware of your unconscious, underlying desires in life, they will continue to control your actions and give you an outcome that doesn’t match up with what you consciously say or think you desire.

We all live inauthentic lives to one degree or another where we take actions that are neither compatible with our conscious desires nor our core being.

Our actions most of the time are based on past experiences rehashed in our minds that we play out over and over and over again. Thus we never truly live life in the present, but rather we live from our experiences.

We’re not able to live The Viable Alternative, which would mean to create from the desires that emanate from our core being simply because we’re not aware of what we really want. We’re not aware of what we truly desire because are hearts and minds are blocked by The Illusion and we all sadly think it’s real in one way or another.

It reminds me of when we were kids, and we would be running around the house making noise. Now, if our parents were to come home in a good mood, they may simply give us a warning to stop making noise, or if they were in an extremely good mood, they may even laugh at our gesticulations. However, Heaven forbid if one or both of our parents came home in a bad mood because they got screamed on by their boss, or got caught up in traffic on the way home. Most likely, we were on the receiving end of a sound beating.

Now on the surface, it would look like the parent was disciplining us, and they would claim so. However, what was really going on was that the parent was in a bad mood and hit us to let off some steam.

Please, I’m getting flashbacks, someone give me a hug. . . .

Anyways, really, it’s these inauthenticities that exist in all areas of our lives that keep us from creating the lives that we would truly want. We react to experiences and our emotions rather than act from who we really are.

I also recall the many times I marveled in disgust when I go to the gym and I see a person who has been going to the gym for a number of years the same fat, sloppy mess that he was when he first started. On the surface he takes the time to go to the gym, pay his gym membership, and work out, but if so, why is he still in such horrendous shape?

Well, if you look closer at his actions (barring him having some type of thyroid disorder), he’s doing EVERYTHING to guarantee that he doesn’t reach his goal. He works out the WRONG way, and refuses to ask anyone for help, he probably eats like crap and doesn’t want to discipline himself to eat what’s healthy, and not only does he smoke cigarettes, but he probably lights one up as soon as he leaves the gym.

I recall quite a few times someone approaching me at the gym and asking me what he needs to do to get in “good shape”. When I tell him, he walks away shaking his head, obviously overwhelmed, saying he could never do that and with a firmer resolve to stick to what WASN’T working.

What the hell?

“The hell” is that his intention was never to get in shape in the first place, even though he has convinced himself it was, and even if he complains that he’s not getting in better shape despite the fact he’s going to the gym or he engages in verbal masturbation by telling others who are in great shape that he wished he looked like them What he may actually be doing is trying to prove to himself (or most likely someone from his past) that he’s not lazy, hence, to him, going to the gym on its own is enough to satisfy that goal.

There may be a million and one other reasons all resulting in one thing, him not reaching his “said” goal to get in shape.

What’s more, like I said before, is the fact that he completely unaware of what he’s doing. He’s imprisoned by The Illusion, and as long as he remains there, not only will he continue to spin his wheels, but he’ll NEVER learn what he truly desires from the core of his being.

Oh. . . and that goes for ALL of us.

In order for us to break free of The Illusion we need the tools of awareness, honesty and personal responsibility.

By awareness, I mean being aware of our actions and whether they line up with what we truly want in life from the core of our being. For example, a person may have a desire to become a millionaire and delude himself into thinking that he’s taking action towards that goal. However, when you take a closer look at his actions, you may see that they’re actually making him poorer. Simply put, this person has no awareness of the underlying reasons for his actions, and will stay in scarcity until he becomes aware.

When you become aware, are you able to admit to yourself what you’re doing or do you become scared, pull the wool back over your eyes and shout the same complaints that you did before you were aware? By the way, if you choose to CONSCIOUSLY pull the wool back over your eyes, you’re now choosing to live a lie, and let me tell you, choosing to live a lie costs a lot more than embracing the truth.

By honesty, I mean that after you become aware of the discrepancy between your actions and your “desires”, you become honest with yourself as to what you TRULY desire in your life. You may realize that the thing you were originally “claiming” to desire but failing at may actually be what you really want. Now that the lights are turned on, so to speak, you can go about bringing your desire about the right way. Or, you may realize that you may not want that thing whatsoever and you’re now able to determine what you really desire.

Whatever the case, you’ve now taken the path of The Viable Alternative because by being honest with yourself, you’re now living and creating a life that comes from the core of your being, and are no longer fighting the phantoms of The Illusion.

And lastly, by personal responsibility, I mean after becoming aware of your mismatched actions, and honestly determining what you really want, taking responsibility to deal with those issues that caused you to pursue the underlying goal or action that was hidden below the surface of the goal or action you claimed to be taking. If you don’t, I guarantee you that it’s going to come back and bite you in the ass once more, and sabotage success for yourself in the future. Dealing with these underlying issues may involve simply just letting go of some false belief you held about yourself, accepting something about yourself, or even receiving some therapy or counseling.

Personal responsibility is also taking responsibility in doing what’s needed to bring your desires into fruition. That could very well mean confronting your demons and stepping out of your comfort zone. Many people choose to stay unaware and refuse to be honest with themselves because to them, it ultimately means that they would have to assume responsibility to create the life they really want for themselves, and that is too daunting a task for them. Thus, they choose to live a sub-par life to what they can really have.

When I had the conversation with my mother and realized that I wasn’t genuinely seeking to improve myself but rather, I was seeking my mother’s validation that I was a good person, I had to be honest with myself as to what I really wanted.

To me, it was a no brainer, I really did want to be a good person who had good character and integrity. Now though, I was able to see myself with clearer eyes, not from the eyes with which I thought my mom saw me. Thus, I was now able to take actions that were more congruent with my CHOSEN objectives.

Now I had made the conscious decision to improve myself, I also had to agree take responsibility of letting go of the negative beliefs I had placed on myself because of what my mother had told me, I had to learn how to disengage myself from seeking the approval from my mother, and I had to learn to trust my own intuition of what direction I had to take, instead of looking for it from others. All this didn’t happen overnight, but rather was a process, that I might add, is still going on.

I also had to take responsibility for the ugly truths that were sure to come up for anyone who chooses to embark on the path of self improvement. Nothing prepared me however, for how UGLY some of these truths were, however, I knew if I didn’t deal with them, no one else will.

This was my own way of achieving victory over The Illusion and embracing The Viable Alternative just a little bit more.

I also have to say that just because I received this insight that changed the direction of my life doesn’t mean that the process is over. There are still many, many, many, many places in my life were I don’t know that I don’t know where I’m being inauthentic because I’m claiming that I want one thing but actually seeking something completely different, all the while upset for not getting the results I say I want. Shoot, you might even read about a new “discovery” I made in the near future. All I have to say is that life is a CONTINUAL process of peeling away our inauthenticities on our path of self discovery in order to expose more the beauty of our core that has been hidden from us and the world. It never ends until we take our last breath.

So, if you’re frustrated because your life is a mess for not reflecting what you think you want in life, you have to really ask yourself what’s really going on.

Is that goal you’re pursuing really what you want? Or is there some whole other agenda going on that you’re not aware of? Have you been pursuing something different all along that you haven’t been aware of?

Take a look at the actions you’re taking to pursue your goals, and ask yourself, what are they really telling you? What are they revealing about your true intentions?

Are you REALLY married to or dating the person you’re with for reasons other than what you’re consciously aware of? (Hey, I’m not trying to break anyone up, I just want you to think and WAKE UP. )

How about your career path? Why are you really doing it? Was it an attempt to piss someone off, or prove someone wrong, or gain acceptance? Are you really on this path for the reason why you say you are?

Be brutally honest with yourself.

If the answer doesn’t come to you, put the intention out there for it to come to your unconscious mind, to the Universe, to God or who or whatever you believe in. Believe me, as the guy who thought that nothing worked out for him, you WILL receive an answer.

If you take a look below the surface of The Illusion, you’ll find a whole other world out there that’s been running your actions, behaviours, desires etc. It’s a world that’s made up of your false beliefs, lies, fears, superstitions, etc that you accepted long ago without truly knowing what you were doing. In fact, this is part of The Illusion as well, because it doesn’t represent you either.

In any case, by uncovering the lie that had been blinding you all this time, you’re now more capable of finding the truth which is expressed from the core of you being, and live and create a life that is truly and authentically YOU. This is The Viable Alternative.

And I promise you, that along the way, you will get some REAL self improvement out of it.

Hope this helps.

True Self-Improvement, Overcoming Fear and the Special Nature of Adrenal Memories and Its Relationship to Understanding PTSD (Part Two)

True Self-Improvement, Overcoming fear and the specific nature of memories adrenal and its links with the understanding of PTSD (part)

Irrational fears limit us. irrational fears stop us from updating our greatest potential in life.

Allow me another example of a self-limiting and irrational fear that is not very different from the “fear of flying people, but it is far more common fear and a lot more spontaneously one too. It is the fear of personal rejection.

Suppose that John and Judy is very interesting it would be very happy to know her better. Maybe he has the ambition to develop a personal relationship with him.

But there is an irrational fear that could raise its ugly head here in the spirit of John. It is this inner voice that said: “Forget it! Judy is beautiful and every guy needs. I have not the slightest chance to get his attention on me. So why even bother? It represents only frustration and pain for me to even begin to try “

Do you think John was the first problem here is uncertain personal self-image? A simpler way of saying this is that he lacks confidence. Yet how can we really increase our confidence, unless engaging in new challenges and overcome fears of new?

John’s irrational fear and can allow the potential love of his life to slip through his fingers! Hell, Judy might even be a “secret admirer” of his for all he really knows. But fear can not prevent him from trying. His fear may prevent them from ever going further than just saying “Hi”, Judy, and perhaps a little too nervously when she passes.

But lets look deeper, if not trying then it is clear that he certainly can not win Judy. But what is below, and then lost? He even lost the experience of tracking and Judy then things have not worked as hoped. This experience is often a very formative experience and also necessary. Looking at it in the longer term the experience could be beneficial for John too by preparing a success later romantic his personal path of life.

It might even discover that if she is pretty on the outside, Judy is not really pretty inside. There are many possibilities here, but they would all broaden the experience of John, and thus they could increase their chances of success next time!

However, because of “do not try to fear ‘John can remain without experience in the” romantic courtyard experience and methodology. He did not start the season itself in the arena of love, which certainly can be sometimes intense emotional battlefield. Keep in mind that the “inexperienced soldier” who often fell first victim of war too. This fear of rejection is simply not serve John any way at all. fear of rejection John’s severely limited and it reduces the scope of his life.

What would help here John is a program that would allow him to overcome his fear and, more importantly, to enable this experience and knowledge that can overcome the fears of others too. A “Fear of rejection” of the program could be achieved through an authentic simulation too. Although this is a bit more difficult to “fear of flying simulation program that I mentioned.

But a program that has challenged John and prepared to successfully overcome all challenges and real fear (in any way challenge and fear is reflected in the program) would strengthen John’s personal self-image.

Again it is this “point of view of ourselves” our personal self-image from which flows all our achievements, or conversely from which flows all our inner fears and failures.

So if we legitimately challenge John and John rises to the challenge and put aside her fear to do, so we’ve really improved her life. It’s more “confident John would at least approach Judy. And then of course he takes his chance as the other man or birds or fish. But the play turned and John is the before a more sane because he has exceeded some of his fear of rejection..

I have directly seen that when there is a fear quite spontaneously, then they just “take the plunge and go for him in an effort to overcome this fear as best they can, then they have really grown and expanded . And they did it in all directions as important personally, spiritually and in every sense that really matters regarding the actual lifetime limited somewhat from ours.

We really have no time to “self-imposed handicaps irrational fears” to live our lives fully. Each irrational fear is a real obstacle to our bodies and our minds.

;
An effective training program for self-improvement provides the unique environment where a person is forced to face and overcome fear. When they overcome this fear, make the discovery of key personnel so they are, they can do more than they had imagined.

It is a well established principle in military training programs and have some knowledge of these programs also. But there are trainers to deal with tens of thousands and so closely by the need of the basic method is to “break the first, if you can” build support “for what the military needs.

But in small groups and for different purposes some of the conceptual principles will apply to the military formation of true self-improvement. After all soldiers do “ordinary people” and teaches them to do something really extraordinary.

elite combat units are, by their nature, are formed in smaller numerical units. You are thinning “the best of the best”, then make them even better. The basic method is one of continuing challenges (and also education and increase their skill set).

Please think about it, these programs are in part trying to train people to overcome the biggest fear of all, fear of death. But the goal is for them to drop the part off of this fear in order to significantly increase their chances of survival in combat.

In my own training program self-defense/self-improvement for civilians when a man asked me jokingly before the weekend started training, “Will you do me a commando too?” My answer was: “No, I’ll be glad when you leave here thinking that as a”

Yet life is not in itself a form of “struggle” for us, sometimes? And I mean that in a sense meaningful and important too. We are all, or at least I think we should be “spiritual warriors in life. Each new day can bring us all new and sometimes unwanted “challenges” Does not every day have the potential to bring us new disappointments, even the real tragedy, and perhaps moments of joy and also moments of doubt and even depression? This is the battlefield of spiritual life.

When we engage the challenges of life and engineer our way to overcome them and win, then what we’ve really done first is to overcome or at least put aside our fear that we are unable to overcome them. Very often, we fear the most important and general self-Aware is simply the fear of “failure”.

Only when we overcome an irrational fear that we may look back and really see the role that irrational fear has played in restricting us from modernizing our innate potential and the achievement or failing to reach a goal that we aspire too.

In the last installment of this article, we are now better prepared to understand the origins of nayure and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).

I published my first article on PTSD in 1974. However, at that time almost half of the PhD Council said PTSD did not exist but was a fiction created by Hollywood writers for TV drama and purpose. Of course, I knew they were wrong, as I had some PTSD myself.

In the understanding of PTSD we are able to continue to realize how repetitive behaviors that we could undertake, those who we serve and are “errors” are directed from our non-conscious minds. It is these behaviors have been conditioned in us without our knowledge conscious.

This is not a fantasy, this is not an “abstract theory” either. In the next I’ll give you a concrete example of this process. It is an example of the spirit of non-conscious control your behavior that you have personally experienced almost certainly you.

Only when we understand the process itself that we have the means to intervene and correct these errors repeated behavioral, they may be repeating the mistakes that often between us and the achievement of life’s most important.
